I DON’T FEAR YOU- ECXTREME (REVIEW)

So I was asked to do another review.
I’m not a big fan of rap music and unless its really good, I find it very difficult to listen, much more make an objective review. There is a genre of music called Pidgin Music? Ghetto Rap? *shrug*
Well, the song I was sent is one by Ecxtreme (The Lyrical Wanzam?) which features Wanlov the Kubolor. I DON’T FEAR YOU is the title of the song.
Now its not my kinda song so I cant break it down.
But it’s a good listen.
I mean its funny, it makes me laugh.
Wanlov is on it, what more can you expect but humorous lyrics over thumping afro/jama production. The pace and tone the production sets the mood for the listener.
Its draws your attention but its not rude, it is not an up-tempo beat but it wakes you up and makes you no your head. The whole song reminiscent of the era hiplife was birthed.
Its pure, its raw, its unique, it has the I don’t give a F**k feel to it. But then again, that’s the theme of the song.
You be the who who? I don’t fear you you!
This is the kind of stuff that makes it international. Its different from what the people out there are used to. The humor is on point. “Some potholes cannot be dodged”.
I like it, it makes for easy listening.
Now over the top lyrics just simple pidgin…. With Wanlov on it, well what do you expect? Big ups to the lyrical wanzam…. GOOD JOB
